Hey CLK owners, What's on your wrist?

I bought this Yesterday, and also wear my Monaco a lot. Just wondering what the rest of you guys rock. I keep a hand full of G-shocks around as well, cause I think they're awesome watches.

Nice choices NOMO

I like the Breitling and have looked at picking up that exact same watch and I have a monaco just like yours.

I rotate my monaco and custom rolex datejust the most often but I will occassionally wear my tiger wood tag and rolex airking as well.

oooh... i like this topic. makes me remember the good old days when i was a watch nut. i reduced my collection down to:
Rolex Submariner 16610 (1996)P serial - non solid end link version. the new ones are a little too beefy for me.
Rolex GMT Master 1675 (1963) 1million serial - the pointed crown guards version.
Panerai Luminor Marina Pam111(2004) F serial - I use this for casual wear as i use a velcro strap.

Other than that I sold all the others in favor of getting married. =) the wedding and engagement seems to burn a hole in the pockets.

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
I used to be a watch ***** awhile back when the markets were still good. Since then I have reduced my collection to only a few now...

Starting from most favorite:

Rolex Daytona
Rolex Submariner
Raymond Weil
Breitling Navitimer

I find that my Submariner and Daytona can take a daily beating and not wear, not that i do anything anyways..

Yeah I wrry about the Navitimer getting beat up, I used to have a planet ocean. I think I'm going to buy a Semaster as a beater, and to wear to the pool.

I miss my bond seamaster chronometer. I find them better built than the subs. Those things can take a beating. I bought one and used it for 8 years and sold it at 1k. not bad considering that I only got it for 1200 and the use i got out of it. If my sub didnt have a sentimental value to me, id be keeping seamaster.

Heres an old pic of my collection minus the 1963 1675 GMT and the Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso Squadra Hometime. A lot of them are gone realizing that I can only wear one watch a day so what's the point.

clk500 Cab
What does this have to do with CLKs? Mods please move to off topic

Reading this forum makes me embarrassed I ever purchased my CLK. I always appreciated MB cars for their durability, safety, performance, quality, and precision engineering, not because they were a status symbol.

In 2004 a purchased a new Mercedes Sprinter van and love it for its previously mentioned qualities. I then reluctantly purchased a CLK500 Cab, and while the car seems to retain some of those qualities, it imparts a far different personality, which I am uncomfortable with and this forum reinforces. One of a self-centered, greedy, showy person that is more interested in displaying to others what they don't have, than of appreciating the good thing that they do have. I guess what else can you expect from a morally depraved society with a bubble of a money supply.

Then sell the car and get lost. I collect watches, it's a hobby of mine. I wanted to know if any one here shared in that. We have one thing in common that we both own the same kind of cars. I wanted to know if we shared any thing else.

Way to just bust in and be a party pooping judging cry baby ***hole on your second post.

How did curiosity in one's timepiece turn into a feeling of being embarrassed by ones car (or other attached hardware)? Profpower... thats a pretty offensive post for being only your 2nd post ever. I'm thinking maybe you've been kicked off of here before and created a new user name.

Whoever said we bought our cars as a status symbol? What if we also bought our watches for thier quality, durability and precision engineering? I have a watch that is almost 50 years old and it is still ticking. Maybe we are just discussing this topic because its heritage is tantamount to an MB? How many people can actually tell that one is wearing an IWC, a JLC or a Cartier or could distiguish a classic rolex from a modern one. In 2003 my friends made fun of my Panny because they thought it was a pop swatch and thought I was bringing the fad back.

But then again, Toyotas and Seikos(sorry grand seiko fans) are more reliable.

Keep in mind that this guy "reluctantly" bought a cabriolet.
