I just got my Non-AMG Sprint Booster in the mail and will be installing/testing it tomorrow! I'll make sure to update this thread with my findings.....

I finished my install and did a quick test drive. I must say, I REALLY like it.
It REALLY removes the lag and increases the throttle response. I was worried that I couldn't drive the car smooth (I went with the Non-AMG), but after adjusting to the new settings, I found I still can. But when you want to go,.... you go!![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Here are some of my lessons learned:
1. Installation - Remove the bolt cap on the gas pedal with a flathead screwdriver and remove the 10mm nut. Pull out the gas pedal and remove the harness. Install the SprintBooster and TUCK THE WIRES IN THE POCKET ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE (while turning on my test drive, I felt a weird sensation on the wheel, I found that the wires were rubbing against the steering column, so I had to reinstall). Reinstall the gas pedal, bolt and your ready to go.
2. You must relearn to drive the car again - The throttle is more aggressive, so you must have more throttle finesse if you want to drive smooth. You will also find that you are going faster than you realize, so watch out!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
3. It feels great, I should have gotten it sooner. It feels like a new car!

Huh.........I've been telling you guys for YEARSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone that try it LOVE IT !!! The only negative is from people that never install one but F#%%^$CK have an opinions base on their reading!! I'm sicken tired of this kind of people. If you try it..then give an opinion whether negative or positiive then I would respective your opinion !! Btw, 2MCHCAR, if you ever get into the "stop" N "go" traffic jam, just switch your tranny out of the "S" mode.

You know......in reality, you can use either one for both car. It just a matter of how much responsiveness you like. The only thing difference between the two version is......the non-AMG version is more aggressive then the AMG version . Like I said before, I like the AMG most on all mine cars. Mine CL 55 is NA and I didn't like the non-AMG version with it.

Well it depends if you like speed AMG and if you don't like speed then Non-AMG!!

Good luck! Make sure to let us know how the AMG version turned out! I already acclimated to the new settings, acceleration times definitely improved. I know you'll enjoy the improved throttle response......

No, he have the older AMG. You have the newer AMG. For you, if it not too aggressive enough on the Clk 55 then you can use it on the Clk 63. This is actually a perfect test for you to test it out on both AMG cars and tell us if the throttle response is the same on both AMG car.

Well, the guy I bought it from just messaged me. His car got broken into and the sprint booster got stolen in package ready to be sent out, with a few other things. He's refunding my money. Where can I buy a NON-AMG SB (not eBay) for a decent price?
Thank you in advance!

I think you can get them from GMP Performance in Charlotte NC. I have previously bought stuff from them for other cars. Always treated well. In fact I was happy to learn that they distribute alot of performance upgrades for MB. Look them up.

so... let me get this straight. People who have the CLK 55AMG cars are installing the non-amg (ex: clk500,320,350)? Is that correct? All this to get better respone? So, the clk500 has a better throttle response than the clk55 and this is why poeple want the clk500 non-amg sprint boosters in orde to get better response?![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Just to clarify things.
For Cars:
Clk500,320,350 = Normal Throttle Response
Clk55, 63 = More Aggressive Throttle Response
For SprintBoosters:
Running No SprintBooster = Normal Stock Throttle Response
Running AMG SprintBooster = More Aggressive Throttle Response
Running Non-AMG SprintBooster = Most Aggressive Throttle Response
So if you have an AMG car using the Non-AMG SprintBooster, you have the most aggressive throttle response possible.

Now the question is : What is too much response ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I find my AMG has already a quick response soo
I`ll go with AMG booster
Hey Klinh or 2Much,
is the quicker response you guys are talking about...
is the first seconds you put you foot on the gas?.?
or when rolling on the highway and then BAM you floor it...
with the booster you have a better 60 to 100

2Much wouldn't be able to tell you because he haven't try both version yet. It the first second you put your foot down on the gas plus you can hear the engine scream much louder in the non-AMG version.

One quick question for those that already have the booster. Does this device make the "manual" shifting quicker too? When I say manual I'm talking about the shift paddles on the steering wheel because when I hit mine there is a big delay to the point that it's not worth using.
