question about lowering springs

i bought some eibach lowering springs for my 2003 clk500, and i was wondering, how much should i expect to pay for labor? There is an independent Mercedes workshop that said they can do it for 200-250. does that sound right, and ofcourse $100 extra for alignment after that. Also, would i need adjustble camber arms for the rear, or is it not that big of a deal with the eibachs... I was about to get the H&R springs, but if heard that eibachs go better with stock struts, so i opted for the eibachs.

I have H&R on mine and the tire wear is perfect. you won't need a camber kit.

They are trying to rip you off. Try calling a high performance import shop and see how they charge. It should only be around $200-300 max. When I owned a performance shop, that was the usual rate that I would charge. The fronts are Macpherson struts which are easier to take off than double wishbone suspensions, and should only take about an hour per side. The rear springs are seperate from the rear shocks so these look like they can be removed by jacking the rear of the vehicle up and letting the rear suspension hang. Then get a pry bay and remove the springs. They are quoting you a high rate because it's "Euro".
