Alarm beep ?

Alarm beep ?

Is there a way to get a "beep" from the alarm when it arms with the key fob, in addition to the lights flashing?

Dealership has to program it I think. When they replaced mine, then programmed it accidentally with "Mexico" which had a totally gay beep. "USA" setting is no beep, just flashing light.

I don't know if there is a specific setting for just the choice of beep.

I got mine done for free at the dealership. I think it was called Norwegian setting.

I think its called the netherlands setting.

when i arm my car it beeps 3 times, unarm it beeps 1 time

I don't think you need to go the dealer. I'm pretty sure I set mine to beep on my own. It's been a few years, but try and hold down the "unlock" and "lock" buttons simultaneously on your Smart key for 5 seconds. This should reprogram the key to opposite of its current setting.

2-Tone, holding down the lock and unlock buttons for "about 5 seconds" on the key changes the lock settings from "global" (unlocking all doors) to driver door only. To change it back, hold the buttons for "about 6 seconds". I could have those two mixed up, but the "about" in the drivers manual drives me crazy!
