Power Steering Fluid Type

Anyone have a clue on to what power steering fluid to use in the clk500? will the mobil 1 synthetic ATF work ok? anyhelp will be appreciated!

I think there is a lot of confusion. MB and Chrysler developed ATF+4, and used it as PSF, as far as I know. That means any good ATF will substitute. BUT mixing ATF with Pentosin means disaster, they are the one truly incompatible fluid combo in auto industry.
Best method is to smell or inspect the current fluid. Red and smelly = ATF

It looks like CHF 11S or similar "synthetic" PSF is required. My 2007 had ATF in the reservior, so kind of confusing. I have to flush it back to CHF 11S, and do it completely as the fluids are not compatible. Not "miscible", they don't dissolve in each other and cause poor lube conditions. It will kill the system.
