Lol.......well, that make 3 people like my older wheels and at least 2 people here and 3 people over mymbonline that don't like the old wheels. This is why i don't ask for opinion when it come to look !! Now that the new wheels is mounted, I personally love the new wheels much better. I give my car the cleaner look. The wheels look much better in person because of the "gun smoke" base color.

I have always hated chrome on anything.... these rims fit the clk much better and give the car a more original and classy look. I guess I don't like making my car the attention of the road so the clean, classy, oem looks is the winner for me. GREAT JOB!

on the side note, George said these dont come in 18's =[. I found some on discount tire but those dont have the amg logo...

Damn....that's too bad. These wheel really give back that factory look but even better because of the bigger and wider rims.

If I get 19's I would need to get springs and shocks or coilovers which will cost at least 1300 installed for new parts. Plus tires are expensive for 19s....I just wanna slap on the 18s and spacers and be done with.

Yup......it much more cost effective. 18" and 19" is just a little difference in look. But what really made the car stand out more is when you use spacers and push the wheels all the way out to the limit.

are you getting any rubbing up front on the fender? with my coilovers there is no way i could have gone with a 8.5in wheel up front. i like your car with the new wheels better. definitely a clean cab.

They were a slightly rubbing from the wheel spoke with the brake caliber. I used a 3mm spacers and it solved the problem. I think I can still used at least 5-7mm spacer up front before the wheel rub agaisnt the fender. In the back, I used 10mm spacer with 19x9.5 ET35 and the wheel perfectly line straight up with the fender. As for the coilover suspension, I've been telling people about how much I don't like the coilover. Mine old KW II coilover set-up was rubbing too with 19x8 ET35 in the front and I was able to drop only haft way.

Your new wheels are money. BTW, what wheels are those on your sig? Are those the stock 17 CLK500 amg wheels? Also what springs are you on?

yo homie - looks good. Funny thing is I actually decided on these this morning instead of some split spoke wheels. I'm getting stuff already from a good shop up here, but thanks for the tip.

These wheels are also on the CLK63 btw. Just goggle 2007 clk63 and all the pics have this wheel. But that's actually why I was thinking about these - cause they're AMG oem, but bigger.

Also I think you can get these in 18's off of ebay

I like your new wheels. The old ones were cool too, but I like the new ones better. The paint is subtle, but effective IMO.....

It's lookin HOT

How are you? Thank you so much for the wheels and you went out of your way to let me have those wheels. It look more beautifull on the car then imagined. Guys, George prices are the lowest on Ebay.

One benefit with the "gun smoke" paint, the wheel never look dirty with brake dust.
