Pick up my custom painted wheel today and was very disappointed !!!

I paid $350 for the diamond silver custom painted wheels to match my car color and was very disappointed when I pick the wheels up. The color was too light that it barely noticeable. It funny that on my way picking up the wheels, I was so worry that the color might be too bright.

Nice wheels. In picture 1 &2, you can barely notice it but in pic 3 it is more visible. Take some pics when you get it on the car.

Were they Techite before you painted them your body color? If so, I would have left them as is so that it would flow better with the CF mods you now have. But, thats just me. Nice wheels none the less! Now slap em on and give us some real pics...

It were "gun smoke" just like the inside of the rims. I agreed with you now that I see my color is too light.

If you decided to buy the same wheels as mine, let me refer you to the person I bought it from. It the cheapest compared to the rest of the other on Ebay.

Sorry guys.....I'm just too lazy right now because of the Lakers game is on. I probably won't mount it on the car until the weekend. It half time right now so I decided to take a few quick pics. I really like the cleaner look of the new wheels.

Hey Linh, do you know if they make these in 18's? I would be really interested if they did. Also is the AMG logo sticker or ? btw your taste for modding the clk is #1!

I don't know if they made them in 18". Drop Goerge an e-mail to find out (let him know you heard about the wheel from Linh). The AMG logo is not sticker. It the real AMG logo indented into the rims like factory. BTW, inside the rims, it did say "not AMG O.E.M.

Ok, guys. I just finished mounted the wheels at 12:30 am !!!. The front wheel slightly rub the caliber. You will need at least 1-2 mm spacer to fix the rubbing problem. I threw in a 3mm spacer and problems is solved. Pics coming tomorrow !!

Oh man can't wait to see your pictures! This is a mod that I've been thinking about lately! I think these rims are perfect for the car...The trend now is no lips, flat face in the front and concave in the rear....
