Very NICESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!! The fenders gap is PERFECT. Can you give us more info about the 6/4 AMG brake conversion? Were it direct bolt on? Thanks.

SICK!!
Your car already looked great with the Brabus Wheels, but these make it look more sporty!

What kind of springs/shocks did you go with?

Nice brake setup, how much did it run you for the AMG parts? I like the wheels too, are they 19"?

Thanks for all the comments. Not sure what I'm going to do next - maybe Quad exhaust, but would like to keep my Brabus exahust/tips. Need to find find some extra Brabus tips to do this.

Yeah it's all plug and play. I can post the part #'s if you want them. I believe these are from the 05-06 CLK55 and 07+ CLK63

What kind of springs/shocks did you go with?
Springs are Eibach, shocks are taken apart from H&R coilover units. This actually made the car sit a little bit lower than Eibachs with the stock shocks.

Nice brake setup, how much did it run you for the AMG parts? I like the wheels too, are they 19"?
On the rear, the calipers and rotors were about 1500 for everything
On the front, I'm actually using the 03-04 CLK55 rotors so they're slightly undersized. The front 6 piston calipers are about 800/piece - might be cheaper, can't remember. The rotors for the 6 pot calipers are 1200 ea. which is why I did not upgrade those. I'll probably go with another manfctr for the front rotors at some point. So overall the pacakge was about 3100 not including the large AMG rotors. A lot cheaper than going Brembo front/rear and staying with AMG.

The wheels are 19's.

I should have put these on before I took the pics. I painted them myself with spray paint ordered online, and they turned out a perfect match. They're a lot shinier than in the pic but I need to keep buffing out the clear coat.

Are you sure that belong to the Clk 55 AMG? My 2006 Clk 500 Cabriolet has the same exact caliber 4/2 pots calibers.

Yeah pretty sure. I think the 03-04 CLK 55 4 pot AMG calipers are the same as the 03-05 CLK 500's, but painted and with AMG logo. If yours are painted and with AMG logo, then they must have become standard on your year. The 05 CLK55 went to the 6 piston calipers I have now.

Here's a thread where we were trying to figure it all out:

Is the 05 CLK 55 6/4 pot calipers plug-n-play on your car? Thanks for the info.

The 05 and 06 CLK55 AMG have the same Calipers (6/4).

The 03 and 04 CLK55 AMG sharing the same Caliper with CLK 500 (03 to 06).

oh no ...I'm really sorry man I dont mean that ...I just want everyknow what came with their cars.Anyway, good luck to your sale bro. i dont know that u know or not but those calipers that you are trying to sell they are made by BREMBO too.

Do you only sell the front ? Ok I got some question for you ...what kind of brake pads did u use with your new calipers ? Can u use the same pads that was installed with your old calipers or you have to buy the 05 ///AMG pads to work with the new kit ?

Andy

Hey no worries - I was just joking. Brake pads on both the 03-04 CLK55 calipers that I'm selling and my new 6 pisto calipers are OEM. I don't know for sure if you can re-use your brake pads on your non-AMG calipers on the 03-04 CLK55 calipers, but I can't see any reason why you couldn't - it's the same size. I'm not sure if that answer's your question.
