Hi Guy’s
I need help… I have a auxiliary jack( Female Jack) in my 2005 clk500 glove box I need a cable to plug into the jack and into the iPod to allow me to play the iPod through my car audio, so I called MB for a price on cable. Parts guy stated they don’t sell this cable I should check Radio Shack??? I have seen many threads here were people Install aux jacks in their glove box for I ipods where do they get there cables? I think what the dealer meant is that they don't sell the cable alone but sell it only as an Ipod kit. Btw, I think you still need the dealer to turn on the Ipod recognition feature.

Thank for the reply, I will check with the MB dealer on Monday. I have a 2005 w209 with stock navigation what is the cdi button everyone talks about pushing to activate the aux?

The dealer is right, you can buy the cable at Radio Shack for $5.00. I ran it just under the console and out the drivers side and it works great with the IPOD

Bought the cable in it works!
I DID BUY THE CABLE @ RADIOSHACK ...AND IT WORKED! I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE VOLUME, ITS NOT VERY LOUD.
