2006 CLK350 Cabriolet
Well, I bought my 2006 (CPO) last September. I got a terrific deal on the car and I'm certain one reason for that was the announcement that the model was going out of production.

Since I absolutely love the car, I consider it a good thing! I could care less if this will be my last CLK. By the time I'm ready for a new car, the 1st generation E-Coup may be history and I'll get a great deal on one of those!!!!

I wouldn't know to really be happy or not. Once the C Coupe was discontinued (in the US), the value went down a bit, but then it kinda stayed in it's place once it got a bit older, since there were no more!

The 1969-1971 280SE 3.5 4-passenger convertibles are worth a lot now; I think the 1994-1995 E320 convertible will be a valuable car eventually. I don't think the CLK convertible is likely to be as much of a classic in the future -they built too many.

2005 CLK55 AMG
I'm thinking the CLK55/63 AMG models will hold value better due to the limited number produced each year.

They built too many CLK? I am surprised, they are not too many CLK on the road, at least not in Montreal and Toronto...
