Help Please!!!

Hey guys im new to this site, and i needed some help with modifying my CLK320. Im just not sure what I have to put into it. Aside from alot of money, haha. But if you guys could just give me some tips like with what you have done with your cars it woud be great. The main thing i want to enhance would be the performance. So anything you guys have dont that think is a good idea for not that deep of a price PLEASE let me know.

Thanks alot,
-Chris.

Definitely a spoiler:

If you don't already have one.

Then lower it and put some wheels on. That should hold you over for a while.

No problem. Do you want to buy the spoiler?

As far as tuning are you talking, ECU upgrade or tuning the whole engine.

What kind of money are you trying to spend, because those are big money items. I know in your other post you said not deep in the pocket, but for the items on your wish list, you better be ready to have some deep pockets.

hahaha. yea i know. your very right about that one.
maybe like... a couple G's. Probably like no more
than 2500-3000.
and i know for some of those things it might
cost that much just for one upgrade.
But I'm just trying to know my limitations,
and what i can get for what. you know what im saying.

That is an understatement. lol.

I definitely know what you're saying, but as you know once you start messing with tuning it gets expensive and that is definitely true in the Mercedes world. I think 2500-3000k might get you a new exhaust system and an ECU tune and maybe some used headers. If you can get the exhaust used (Eisenmann or Brabus) and some used headers you could easily do it under $3K.

I just didn't know if you were thinking of doing all that stuff for under $1k which is why I asked how much you were looking to spend. Some people come here and think that parts are cheap and easy to come by, when in reality it is the exact opposite especially for the CLK's because not a lot of tuners cater to our cars since there aren't so many of us like the C and E class guys.

In any case, good luck with your search.

Best bet would be the Classifieds section of this forum.
