Odd periodic noise w/engine off
I was walking past my car in the driveway today and heard a noise coming from the engine compartment. The car had not been running for over an hour but the noise sounded like something electrial.
It would sound a high pitched whine for about 3 seconds, stop for 5 seconds or so and then do it again. I listened to it do that for about 10 times until I got in my car and left.
Anyone know what this noise could be ? It almost sounded like fuel pump but why would that be running so long after the fact ?
