Yeah... The first thing is it must be enabled through the steering wheel controls and instrument cluster. Plus i believe the mirror adjust must have the passenger side selected.

But I don't have this feature in my instrument cluster.
I went to the dealer, they said this feature might be canceled in the 09'.

Not sure if you have to do that. I don't remember ever doing that on mine but I do know that you HAVE to select (push down the passenger side mirror button) passenger side mirror button for the mirror to automatic tilt down when in reverse. Try it.

The tilt down feature was disabled starting from model year 2008 ( I think)

It can be re enable through StarDiag.

Hope this helps

My car is 09 model. I don't have that feature.
Unfortunally, my dealer don't know how to do that.

Trust me. It can be done.

My E500 has it, My SLK350 has it. And when I got my CLK350, I said WHHHATTT, why is this simple feature off.

Thanks to Steve of MBENZNL, he was able to use his SDS to make the appropriate changes, and now my CLK350 has it.

If you cannot find a tech with your dealership, reach out to Steve of MBENZNL.

Good luck
