Hi guys, I have a problem, when I turn on my ac my engine fan sounds weird like an airplane engine... What do you think is the problem???

If you don't think it is coming from fan where can it be?

It's your ac colling backup fan, and I think it's normal, mine sound like a jet engine. But only when I'm at idle, when I drive it turns off.

That is normal for every CLK500...one my buddy had that car his fan was loud too lol.

There's no back up fan in our cars. Just a single large fan and fan speed is base on cooling temp. The sound it normal if the AC is on or on hot day.

Yes, I took my car to service at a dealership, and I told him I had this problem, and he said it's normal. He said something like circulating the air and the a/c would get cool quickly... so don't worry, but I admit that people look at you everywhere you drive by because we are too LOUD.... =)
