CLK 270
New Member to MB World - Needs help with tyres and alloys!!

Hello to everyone,

I'm new to the forum, I am running a 2005 CLK 270 cdi. I'm looking to start modding my car and I would some major help!!

What offset should I be looking for when buying some wheels? I have seen some that I like and they are 245/40/18 all the way round, would these rub on the front and would they be ok on the rear? The wheels I have as standard are 215 on the front and 225 on the rear.

Could I put 225 tyres on the front if this is a problem or will they not fit on the alloys??

Any help will be much appreciated.

The wheels will be run with standard Avantguard suspension.

Thankyou

Hope this helps. I had same questions

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...-question.html

Offsets options:
1. 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear. ET is 28 in front, 33 in rear
2. 18" X8.5 front 18x9.5 rear ET: 32 mm front and 35 mm rear

I'd like to hear some other options with the offset...thx
