A FREAKING DOOR DING when you come back to your car? On top of that, it's obvious that the stupid driver from the SUV next to your car caused the damage !!!
What I did: Poor my drinks all over the driver/s door and stick the botton on the windshield . This was done 1 hr ago.
What would you do?

I'm really sorry to hear about what happened.
This is one of the very things I hate.
But here's a twist in the tail....
The other night, I headed back to my car to find that someone felt the need to pour a large Macdonalds drink down the passenger rear quarter!
Luckily, I was right next to a petrol station and managed to jet wash it down.
I don't blame you for being pissed.
Unfortunately, most people see cars as...just cars.
We see them as so much more but "Civi's" will never understand this.
I now make sure that if I go out in my car, I never leave it.
I'm fortunate enough to not have to drive to work, so it's pretty much a weekend thing for me.
You may have to use your car more than me, so I'm not sure what to suggest.
Unfortunately, this **** happens in life. All you can do is make sure you go out of your way to do every thing possible to keep your pride and joy out of the firing line of life.
Sorry again man.

Sure they are just cars but that doesnt really give anybody a reason to poor a drink down the quarterpanel. Its just disrespectful. Sorry to hear that your door got dinged. Why not have taken pics and had them pay to fix it?

/\ I waited for 30 mins and there was no way to tell when the jackass was coming back. It sure doesnt' give anybody a reason to give other people's car a door ding either.

You guys are lucky.... sort if. I bought my 06 CAB, knowing that I put 35,000mi per year on, mostly highway, summer and winter. It didn't take me long to reconcile myself to the fact that dings, stone chips and windshield pits will be forever a part of my car's future. A year in, it has it's share, but still looks fantastic unless you go looking for things.
At least I get to spend a heck of a lot of time driving mine!
