For that kind of money you could have bought the 500 and had more power, spent less money, and fewer headaches.

LMAO!!

This is one of the better responses that I have seen to date!

You're exactly right though - that's what makes this funny

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)

tuning, labour and parts in building a 3.8s will cost more than a stock CLK500.....lol

well in the op's defense, y'all assume he just bought the car. I suppose he could sell it and buy a 500 or 55....but if he's had this car for 5-6 years and only now decided he wants more hp...

shoot if I had known how much I would be spending on my car back in 2003, I would have just bought the 55 also.

2000 CLK 3.2
The cheaper way to go if you don't want to buy a new car is to get a Kleeman SC set up and you'll make some good power. Comparable to a stock C32 and stock CLK55.

here's a link to a Kleeman SC build on a CLK320
http://www.2phast.com/clk32k/

here's where you can buy it
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/k...2-p-56010.html

Don't spend the money on a 3.8 engine, it's incredibly expensive. And don't go out and buy a new car if you like what you have now.
