You can't really run an X-pipe since the exhaust system is already a Y-pipe system so that would be pointless. You only need to run X-pipes on a true dual system. If you have already deleted 2nd cats then you have done pretty much everything you can other than running shorty headers, and running high flow primaries (300-cell metal cores shouldn't cause CEL). If you need high performance headers for your CLK, feel free to contact us for more details.

Here is a graphic to explain it:

sorry for maybe stupid question, I'm a bit green, but does the removal of the second cat effect the emission test in any way?

Your "true dual exhaust" from the CATs down through 2 mufflers at the end? It almost impossible for a true daul set-up like the factory with out a new spare tire tube.

If it ran through the muffler it wouldent call it straight pipes, no muffler no secondary cats no resinators all noise. in the stock system right after the secondary cats a Y pipe is made, in my system the y pipe is replaced with a H pipe and the result is constant true dual flow

Damn.......that would sound super loud, no? Your set-up leave no back pressure at all and would help top end power greatly but torques will suffer.

I think you may be confused. True dual simply means there are two pipes all the way through the entire system. They can still both come out the exact same side, you don't have to have quad tips in order to have true dual. The W210 E55 AMG is a perfect example of that in its truest form:

The car goes like stink now I have no doubts about that I have a good fealing that g37's will be seeing my tail lights if race ;p. I havent felt a torque decrease or increase at low end but theyre is a significant pull on the top end!!

Is it loud? You bet it is!! It sounds like a muscle car. I'll make a sound clip one of theese days.
