Red face I'm new!

Hello everyone.
I'm a new guy here driving white 04 CLK 320 convertible with 26k miles. I bought it three weeks ago and had a great deal on it.
I wanted to get above 350 but it was too expensive for me.
well, I've been enjoying my ride without any troubles. I read a kmjs thread and also worry about my tranny. I didn't know that a lot of people have same transmission problem... I don't have money to replace it.
Oh well, it's the first time I drive Mercedes... and I love it!
Any suggestions for improving performance and appearance of my car?
I post some pictures of my car.
Thank you

nice and welcome to the forums.

uhm as for mods for appearance, you can do lower, rims, HIDs if you dont have xenons.
i am currently working on audio (subs and speakers)

i dont know about performance. we have 320s....i dont think performance for our cars is worth a lot. for the price, its not worth it.

thanks for fast reply.
I'm thinking to put HID(head, day, fog), LED license plate light, 19 rims, bodykits (clk63amg front bumper..), CF spoiler and diffuser, quad exhaust, AMG emblem, IPOD integration, tinted 3rd brake light(cracked little bit already for the appearance.
For performance, I was thinking to put ECU and supercharger but I'm not really sure I should do it or not. I don't know it's worth it or not..
Maybe changing air filter and intake helps little?

All that sounds good but lets face it, if you can afford to fix a transmission you cannot afford to supercharge/ecu tune your CLK.
take your car in steps bro.. do the hid/led lighting to it, its cheap and easy to do, then move your way up to the 19's, drop it if you want, if you want the kit do that after if you have money.

Trust me when you get into performance, its one thing after another, and the way i see it, if your going to do it then do it right. I did a single turbo set up and that went way beyond my inital budget, then after the tune and BS stuff that goes wrong, it went way way way (double) my budget. stick with the cheaper mods first then move your way up, that way you can see the progress and stay motivated on the car.
other then that, just maintain the car, a clean car can be appreciated by everyone.

I had LED license plate lights for about 2 weeks...took them off. Nothing like telling CHP exactly where you are.

that is tru. when you do HID and LED tail lights, get ready to attract A LOT OF ATTENTION. however, if your driving the speed limit, then go for it. just be warned. i still have that problem. lights attracting too many popo. so now i just cruise at night.

Very nice car and welcome...we have the same interior color thou. .

For the mods, it helps alittle bit if you change your air filter to K&N which I had right now. For the supercharger I dont think you wana do that we talking about $10K here and its not worth it for CLK320. You could have the CLK55 ///AMG with that 10K + your car...im saying the very nice one.

AND NO AMG EMBLEM please lol

Andy

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all your compliments on my car
I'll forget about supercharger or whatever things.. I will just concentrate on the appearance.
I have ordered front brake pads and rotors...That will be done in this week.
After changing brakes, I want to put HID on the head, day, and fog...
There are too many HIDs out there and I don't know which one is safe and good. Any recommendations on this?

Thx!

if you got cash get the mtec ones. those come with guarenteed no errors.

if not. try to get your hands on some german ones or japanese ones and buy resistors for them so that you want get flickering or an error code. doesnt matter which one really.

OH and try to get ones that are slim. i find those easier to mount than the big bulky ones.

im not sure but apparently there are 35 watt ones and 55 watt ones. you might wanna look into that. shrug. or mayone someone else can chime in. lol.
GL and have fun
