I can't understand your posts. I think you are trying to say that the stock system is a true cold air intake that looks fairly nice. So you took it off and replaced it with a pvc pipe under the hood?

sigh.
try taking out the fins inside ur airbox.
The stock box is supposedly the "best set up"
try...getting new intake tubes, or figuring something out for intake tubes...
stay tuned guys.

So basically what im asking and chrislis is asking is how you went about getting your 30-40rwhp claim from exhaust and intake. personally it is very hard to beilive, ive been around cars a while and I can see it in SOME (only some, like 2jz, RB's, rx7 FD), but i have never seen a proven 40rwhp on a NA car with just exhaust and intake. That is taken into consideration of dyno, same day runs, tuner, etc...

Pulley+intake+exhaust, total, i'm not sure if it'll give u 30, but with legit mods, it'll give u about 30.
I'm talking abt, Evo UDPS (10-12), Eisenmann or Remus exhaust with secondary cat+res delete, (5-8) Renntech intake (12-15). on a non amg NA V6 or V8.
thats about, 26-35hp gain. plus a bit fault margin, about 20-29 gain. yeah about right.
those few mods can get that kinda gain. It happened on my old C320 Coupe.
but...i'm not sure about that intake. it's really not "cold" and i doubt it'll run more air than a stock set up. It looks more like ur sucking in hot air.
