Alex, I think it's easier to do it on a E39,
sigh...I have to take apart the headlights again today, I have to make a socket for my HID kit. this is a CLK facelift headlight, so it runs on D1S, and it has ONE missing ballast, so I have to take the other ballast off as well, and make a socket, to fit my D2S HID kit

some iphone shots...
the drivers side bi-xenon bulb is not working as of now, I got the D2S Adaptor cable for it, it should be here tuesday, and then, it's ALL SET!

thanks guys!I found these headlights through my shop, and I happen to be the FIRST C55 to install the facelift CLK headlights (yesss!) and maybe the first to paint them too.
I'll take more pics of the car at Oktoberfest tomorrow, but I still need to repair them. they fogged up a bit (argh) I gotta silicone the whole thing now!

So I went to Oktoberfest 2009@GPNY. Yes, it's a BMW festival, MOST of my local buddies are BMW guys, hence, I have a BMW myself.
BMW hood badge!
Then some shots of the car, at the event, it caught a lot of attention, since it was a MB and it had a BMW badge on it, so I named it. BMW 3 1/2 Series, 355 ////AMG.
