CLK 500
Flashing Lights!!

I dont know if im going crazy but it seems that my lights are flashing when im standing still or even driving. Even in the car it seems like the navigation screen gets darker. is anyone else experiencing this with a CLK. THANKS!!

I think it's caused by the light sensor on your windsheld. I notice that too. I'm guessing the car senses when the light needs to be brighter or dimmer according to the outside condition.
I think I'm right, not 100% sure. LOL

2012 E350 Cabriolet
Sounds like the same problem I had in my last CLK500 cabriolet, and the dealership thought I was crazy - it took three trips in before they finally fixed it. It was the headlight control unit. I'd be driving down the road and my lights would simply flicker off and then back on - not very comforting when you're heading down the freeway at 65MPH+. It started off very sporadic, but got progressively worse.

From what I remember, they decided to change the headlight ECU without having really determined it was faulty, so I'm not sure they really have any way to know if the ECU is actually broken. But once they replaced it, the problem was immediately solved. Good luck.
