Smoked Taillights...advice please

what up MBWORLD ??
anyone got smoked taillights? if so, how much did it cost? and post a picture if you have it done...i am really thinking about getting the taillights smoked out black, but also wanted to kno if i can turn it back to it's original color if i ever end up selling the car in the near future so it doesn't depreciate in value...please give me some feedback...

They sell the partially tinted ones on ebay. Unless you want the entire light tinted.

Just go to a local tintshop and ask for a quote. Usually price varies across different places. A local shop charges me $50 to smoke entire taillights and $90 to leave the white parts not smoked.

It's easier to remove tinted version than painted one.

if it's sprayed, you cannot get it off. You'll have to purchase new taillights. Beware if you get a ticket for it. You're going to have to debate either paying the ticket in full or replacing your taillights. And be cautious that if you get rear ended, the opposing party can argue that you have illegal smoked taillights causing them not see you brake.

Yeah, I used to have my taillights smoked, but I got a ticket for it. So I bought new taillights. If you're still serious about getting the taillights keep the white untinted. It looks better. Mine was entirely smoked.

Don't forget to get your third taillight tinted as well.

Do you still have your old ones since you replaced them? If so, do you want to sell them?
