I read in the forums that you can't really fully disconnect ESP, but the closest to turning it off is to set the car into Dyno Mode. Put your key into on position have the Mileage or the Digital Speed optometer come up. Then turn the key to the off position and press the reset button three times quickly. Put the key back to on, and a secret menu should come on. Press up on your steering wheel until it asks if you want dyno mode on. To get back to this menu just repeat the steps

on the 209s you simply put it in dyno test mode. On the 208s you have to actually disconnect the plug on the ESP/ABS module in the engine bay. Both essentially do the same thing and NEITHER should be used on the road, it is ONLY for dyno testing. You will end up in a tree or telephone pole if you try to drive on the road with it full disconnected.

At that point there is NO ABS. The brake balance is such that the car would be hazardous to drive except in granny mode.

I would be hazardous and foolish to drive in dyno mode. You do not need dyno mode to do drifting, just turn off traction control.
