Winter Tires 2 or 4

I'm looking in to buying some winter tires before our wonderful Chicago winter weather kicks in. Looking at Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3. Now I heard both opinions, use all 4 for the handling, or as its a RWD car only use two for the rear and keep the all seasons on the front. The all season I have now are the Continentals. This will be mounted on the 16" rims that came standard with the car (clk320).
What are you guys running on yours and recommended?
Winter tires on all 4 or winter on the rear and all season on the front?
I drive a total of 8 miles a day in mostly flat area to the train station with sections of woods with snow blown threw.
Thanks

Just remember that, if you have 2 driving snow tires, you have to steer somehow......vice versa.

I guess I was mostly thinking about situations where my rear wheels are spinning and not necessarily when I loose control. For example there is a hill from the road to the train station parking lot, so leaving up the hill would create difficulty if my rear tires were spinning. I guess its $250 more for the two front tires and even a small front end collision would cost more to repair

Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 have a $70 rebate on Tire Rack right now for a total of $456 + shipping
Front: 205/55R16
Rear: 225/50R16
