My current Michelin Pilot Sports are toast at less than 17,000 miles and, having read that, for whatever reason, CLKs seldom have tire life of longer than 20,000 miles, I'm thinking that buying a modestly priced tire like the Eagle GT (+/-$445 before installation) is a better plan than spending twice that much for more short-lived Michelins. Any experiences, good or bad, w/ the Eagles? Tia.
