2003 SL55, 2006 CLK500, 1998 Vette

replacing air filters on 2006 clk 500

Good day everyone. I am looking to change the air filters on my 2006 clk 500. Can anyone direct me to a step by step instruction as to how to do this? Pictures would be nice.

09 CLK550

1.Yeah open the hood, pull your air box upwards( means pull it out of the car)
2.Then get allenkey and unscrew all of the screws that are holding the air box together.
3.Once you have it open, take out the filters and replace it with new ones.
4. Screw everything back, align the Air box tube with the mas air flow tube and snap ait box back in place.

Very nice pricing. How often do you guys clean/replace your K&N Filters? I am thinking of changing every 25K miles or so.

I bought the air filters from autoanything.com it was 103 dollars including tax and shipping. I just finished installing. Man, the car feels faster, and the engine is definitely louder. I like it!
