CLk550 Upgradable Navi?
I've read quite a few posts from this forum and from what I'm getting is that I can swap the COMAND unit and place a new one (Navi) and now I have a navi capable car?
Or is the installation more difficult?
I was thinking installing a COMAND Navi in a CLK550 that didn't have a Navi in the beginning to be more difficult, right?
Scenerio:
I bought a CLK550 w.o Navi.
Bought a EURO COMAND/DVD Navi.
Take out my Piece and place the new one in?
Is it really that simple or am I missing something?

I've heard rumors about US MB owners installing Euro commands to enable DVD capability while driving. I don't see why it wouldn't work, so long as you had the right map discs, etc.
Another option is going with an aftermarket headunit. If you do a search, you can see someone's thread that I posted some pics in.

But, if you decided to get a CLK550, Astro - Anyone.
Would you buy one with Navi preinstalled or buy a COMAND unit to install after to save money?
Any input would be appreciated.
