Interior lighting....
But when I took it for a drive a few days later, they appear to stay on.
They go off when I lock the car though.
I'll double check next time I drive it.
I'll see how much of a distraction they are.
If too much, I may swap them back out.

Tell your GF that she needs to be doing her make-up before she gets in the car!
Before you know it, you'll have blusher and eye liner all over the place!
Seriously.
She'll be all like "I'll be careful, baby".
My ***.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Whoa.

Man, you need to introduce some ground rules.
In my car, there is:
No smoking, no eating, no drinking, no make-up, no reading of newspapers (inky fingers!), no rear passengers, no touching of windows/ trim/ buttons. Movement in the seats is to be kept to a minimum, no sneezing, no coughing, speech is also to be kept to a minimum. No laughing.
Basically, if you have to be in my car, sit there and shut the hell up!

No no, my friend.
What I have is the CLK63 AMG in coupe form, not the CLK Black Series
I have back seats and all the luxuries of the CLK (see 1st attached pic)... but with the monster engine.
Kinda wish I didn't have back seats though.
No one uses them! LOL
Thought about taking them out, but then I saw how it looks with them removed! (see 2nd attached pic. Not mine! - someone elses).

Not sure how they come out or how much they weigh in at.
Sorry man.
But here's a couple more pics of the guy's stripped CLK55.
He says he's saved about 150kg's in all.
Kinda looked butchered though.

I mean, check out the gear changer area!

It's a shame. The blue looked awesome.
But the fact that they stay on while I'm driving was niggling away at me too much.
Maybe I'll find some LED's down the line that don't have any problems, but at the moment, it's Mercedes lighting for now.
