Maybe try 2 extra bulbs, one for the trunk and one for the glove box.
I'm running into a problem on the installation and was wondering if anyone can help.
1st: my rear dome won't work with the LED's, it seems the rear dome bulb is larger than those that i got (front works fine).
2nd: the front map light, i took it off easy, but i can't get it to work. I have the lil plastic thing that was in it out along with the cover, but i can't get it to turn on. Do i need to re-install the plastic thing or the cover befire it works?

Kev, thanks for the help. I got the rear dome/front map light to work. The only problem i'm running into now is putting the map-light cover back on...fml!

I'd be interested in the LED package for the W209, want to replace all the bulbs with LEDs (map, dome, glove box, door and trunk). What about the vanity/visor lights, do you have replacements for that? What would you recommend for the city lights, want something really bright? My friend has a SLK350 (R171) do you have anything for that?
And just to confirm that all these LEDs have load resistors built in to avoid throwing out any error codes, correct?

has anyone installed the led bulbs for the license plate from sonic? i've bought 36mm led bulb off ebay and it does not fit because the led housing part is too big for our car...

I bought my license plate led bulbs from ebay and the whole interior plus trunk leds from sonic. All LEDs still work very well. You may go to sonictuning.com to find out if they have license plate leds for our car. Or you can get some from ebay.

Sorry about some of the late replies, we been really busy with the new wheel setup.
To those are running LED license plate bulbs, are all of them 36mm? we are trying to fit three SMD led on there, since most of the 36mm kits we seen only have two of the LEDs.

The ones I have are 36mm with 2 LEDs. They do have a 3 LED bulb also but they don't recommend it for Mercedes.

They should fit, but are they 19x8.5 all around? The rears should be wider

So I Tried 2 Install The LED's Over My Lisence Plates 2day And THEY DIDNT FIT.... SMH!!! I Was Mad Happy When I Got Em 2 Days Ago... So I Dont Need 2 Tell U How I Feel Now They Dont Work !!!
