Hi guys,

I made the first big mod in my CLK320CDI, new original 18" CLK 63 AMG wheels, to replace the 18" stock ones:







But now the wheels look so small compared to the stock ones and the rear ones could be much wider (9.5" at least)

sotck size:
7.5X18ET36 and 8.5X18ET30
AMG size:
8X18ET34 and 8.5X18ET30

I'm thinking making some change to this, maybe the suspension, to disguise better the size of the rear wheels

The way to go is coilovers since I allready have the sport suspension and changing only springs won't make many difference.

My question to you guys is, wich ones, PSS9 or KW V2 or V3?
Major concern is the way of tunning the suspension, wich one is better and easy? (I only have experience with Koni Sport shocks)

I don't know how KW or Bilstein shocks ride, I only know the koni Sport where great, not harsh and confortable with few tune.

Any advices?

i heard KW v3 or pss9 were the way to go.

I researched a bit more and realized that PSS9 are not in the level as the V3 because of the better 3 way tune of the V3 instead of the 2 way tune of the PSS9, but this could not be valid for the PSS10, but since they are not available for the W209, it doesnt matter.
So the V2 compares to the PSS9 and V1 to B14 rigth?

B14 are almost the same price of the V2.
V3 and pss9 are more expensive set...

Since I'm used to koni sport with rebound adjustment the V2 would be better suited for me

what are b14s?

pss9 are usually liike 1.7k
v2s are that range....arent they?
v3 are like in 2.x range

Bilstein have the B16 (pss9 and pss10) and the B14 (only ride height adjustables)

I'm looking for prices but V2 are cheaper than pss9, like 1200-1400€ and pss9 1600-1800€

For what I read, overal KW coils are a bit better
