Just Purchased 07 CLK350

Hi guys,
I just purchase an 07 CLK350 and still preparing all the documents to be shipped from Ohio to Seattle. Unfortunately, the car does not have heated seats, bi-xenon and navigation system.

Here are my questions
- Do you think it's worth it to add heated seat system to the car to be driven in seattle?
- I'm thinking to change the headlight to bi-xenon but the price is so expensive, do you think I should just add PnP HID system or save up for bi-xenon? The cost is like $100 vs $1000.
- I had an OEM Navi in my previous car and love it. Do you think I should add in-dash navi headunit or just buy a small portable one?

Congrats on your new car. For the heated seat I dont think its necessary to have that...I do have that on my car but barely used that ( I do have snow here too lol) . For the bixenon and OEM Navi. you gotta have it so lets start saving now .

i would say go with an aftermarket in dash navi. but keep in mind that should be done with an audio upgrade as well. otherwise oem is pnp.

im currently saving up for bix but for the meantime i have HID lol 100 for now and 1000 for later =P

^ thanks for the relieve. I don't know how much heated seat will cost to get it installed. It's around $600 as an option but I suppose that the cost will be more expensive if you need to install it as an add-on.

Something wrong with aftermarket in-dash navi with OEM sound system? I got Harman Kardon sound system. What upgrade do you have?

"100 for now and 1000 for later" is pretty cool statement there. I guess I'll do the same. Mind to share how it looks on your car?

lol now that you mention it. i dont have pics of my car. haha at all. and i forgot to post my install.

as for the aftermarket navi, its possible. you have to buy the HU, buy an adapter and install a hi/lo converter for your oem amp. something along the lines of that.
long story short, i bought two amps. one for a bigger sub. and one for speakers. installed all that with a pioneer hu. looks nice and installed with a help of a friend.

Post pics for your audio upgrade too. I always want to add a sub for my car but I don't want to sacrifice trunk space anymore like I did on my previous car.
I had 15" Focal subwoofer and love it everyday I hear it. The tone is crazily beautiful.

^ that is also tru. at the time i didnt care about nav or heated seats. but didnt really mind about bix as well like it wasnt a necessity. didnt think i would be modding it and keeping it stock either. LOL

yeah i'll post up pics soon. but a couple of members have audio set ups here. from i remember v12 had a crazy space saving method. i think he replaced two subs where the current sub is located in our cars. but i pretty much sacrificed my trunk for the ported 12" JL. theres like enough room for a back pack and tool box. haha.

i would suggest doing audio first, no offense dynomite, because im in the car most of the time. my HIDs are good enough for now. but i love music with bass too much. lol.depends what you like? and also depends on how much play around money that your gonna have/earn over time.

In fact, the car is not that base model. I received the paper that shows everything on the car with MSRP price when it was new. The car has premium P1 package with harman kardon 5.1 sound system, cd changer and sport package that has sport suspension and 10 spokes wheels. Also, it has key-less go option that cost $1,100. I don't know what the first owner think not to add heated seat and bi-xenon but key-less go.

I got it for $22500. Do you think it's a good deal for 07 CLK350 28,000 miles?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I have the sport package and love the wheels and drilled rotors.
