SLK55 wheels

I was thinking of getting SLK55 16 spoke wheels.
I know they same size as CLK550

Is the offset the same? Will i need spaces?
Should i get only 18x8.5 all around or stick to the original 18x7.5 F & 18x8.8 R set up?

They will fit i currently have them on my clk without spacers

I find that they dont grip too well comapred to my old 19's i guess that extra rubber and wider stance makes a big difference.

I dont blame you
with 550 motor and 255 rears i cant catch any traction at launch.

all racing has to be done with a rolling start. lol

so you had no issues with 265 in the rear?

265 were great in the rear, i never lost traction!

To be honest im only going wider as my wheels are wider so i want to give them as much sidewall protection as possible

SLK and CLK have the same offsets and bolt sizes. The wheels should fit.

I'm running 19" with spacers. Larger footprint and more flush.
