2003 CLK 320 Passenger Window Issue

Just recently I noticed that my passenger side window would not roll back up after opening and closing the door. I was still able to inch the window up to an eventual close. It was bothersome but it worked.

Unfortunately today it would just not roll back up. To make matters worse, when I pulled on the switch to roll the window UP it went DOWN . It didn't matter what I tried, the window just kept going down. I used the switch on the driver side door and the switch on the passenger side door with the same results. Now my window is stuck in the full open position. Hope it doesn't rain from now until I get home.

Any ideas? Thanks.....

This happened to me when i removed my battery. Everything would go backwards wIndows seats and sunroof.

I had to drive around 3 miles and everytihng got back to normal.
SO if you removed your battery than that's what it is.

If not than try removing the battery for 20 min or so and it might do the trick.

I've tried all of this and nothing. I even changed the battery to a new one with no change.

Just today I took the panel off in search for the motor to see if I could jumper the motor leads and force the window up. When I took the panel off I found some sort of module with a lot of connectors on it. Since the power seat inputs go to this module I am assuming that it is some sort of computer which stores the seat settings, etc....

As I attempt to close the window I can hear what I am assuming is a relay in this module and then I can hear it click off too. All within a second or two and the window does not budge. The only markings I found on this module are the following:
209 820 12 26 [01]
Temic 353386
I took the module off to see if there were any markings on the other side but it was blank. Any thoughts?

Just wanted to update in case others are seeing the same problem. It did turn out to be the door control module (N69/2 - passenger side). Problem was that I could not find the part anywhere on the web (new). Dealer wanted a fortune but luckily I found one used on ebay for $100 USD. I took the risk, purchased it, replaced it and now it works great.

Thanks for all the help.
