Not trying to be a killjoy but CLK1990 you don't have to double post. You could address different people by multi-quoting

i've had a clk320, 350, and 500 and i would agree with going for a clk500 if you want more power. the 350's are really fun, but they are just fun IMO. The 500's and 550's are rockets. and you can easily find a 500 in the same price range as a 350

as for the s/c, i cant find it, but there was a forum i saw along time ago about a similar subject, and im 90% sure the s/c would fit the 500 and 550's but not the V6 engines

O, and alot of people do have spacers, but if you dont need them i would say DO NOT get them!! i haaaattteeedddd having spacers, they make the steering wobbly and the ride sucks

Yeah I still have alittle to pay off on it tho and I put alotta work into it already visual wise. I was. Just looking to give it alittle more power now I wanted to find a s/c or a turbo. To give it that get up and go its very quick for a v6. Its just so hard to find parts for too , wat I wanted to do was full exhaust headers and mabe a s/c or turbo and throw it in there ...I would like to get into a 500 or 550 but realisticly I dunn see that happening. For like anthr year or 2..butt wwould you know any turbo or headers for this motor?

honestly, getting a 500 is very realistic, even if you still owe money, you can find them cheap, and if you dont car about options, really cheap

It would a be a pita to get s/c to work on the 350 and the 550 because the they are 4 valve motors. If you had a 320 you could maybe retorfit the c32 s/c. The s/c of the 55's would work best on the n/a 55 and the 500.

I would sell your car and get a e55 or cl600 with bi-turbo v12 if you want extra power.

if your looking for power, either drop in a clk55 motor or a 55k motor out of an E or S class.

I personally think that a 500 is adequate power, but if you want something that is unique and a real sleeper a 55k motor is the way to go.

If you plan to upgrade the motor then i would suggest suspenson upgrades. coilovers, sway bars and some wider wheels.

Ya after countless modifcations and hasseles. 15k later you realize your not making much more hp than a CLK 55. 15k for modding and 25k for you car and your at 40k in no time. With that kind of money you could have had a used sl600/cl600/s600. with a beast of an engine.
