Any one else out there that works with Benz? Why has production been so slow? We get more SL55s than CLK500s. Is this typical at other dealers? This is the only one we have, it was ordered but the customer is not taking it. Marcus Benz, are you out there, are you guys getting any quantity of W209 cars?

Agree.
They look very small compared to the large(r) car. I had to switch out the same day! It drove me crazy.
Also, production on the 320's & 500's are still very low. I talked with my MB dealer (Tri-Star Imports) and they informed me that they do indeed get more SL500's then 320's or 500's...wow. I got lucky on mine b/c while I did have one ordered, it was going to be another 2-3 months. A buyer who had one on order, decided not to buy and I ended up getting this one which has all the same options/interior/color that I order....I GOT LUCKY!
I love the 500, but 10k extra doesn't work for me when I have a Viper already. If I want to blow someones doors off, I get the RED CAR....not the SILVER CAR.

I think the 17 inch AMG wheels that come with the 500 look pretty good. I think they're the same wheels used with the later model 208s. I would prefer the new 18 inch split spokes though, if they are compatible (new E55).
