w209 CLK Extended warranty
This question may have been asked before but I couldnt find any info on this. About to purchase a 2006 w209 CLK from an independant dealer. (Non-MB, non certified but very reputable dealer)) The dealer mentioned the existing warranty is about to expire in a few days but I do have the option of purchasing an extended warranty through one of their vendors.
If the original warranty expires, Is there any way to purchase an extended warranty directly from MB or am I chasing after a lost cause? Any one else have experience with purchasing a CLK whose warranty is about to expire and if so, any advice or recommendations on a solid company in the Florida area?
Thanks

Search for the Chrysler Service Contract for reviews from other members. A bunch of them have good experiences with this warranty. I have an extended warranty through them but haven't used it yet (knock on wood). I got 3yrs/unlimited miles for $2400 with $200 deductible and they offered an interest free 1 year payment plan. Here is the website: http://www.chrysler.com/en/service_contracts/

I got this when I purchased my clk from a Lexus dealer.

3 months later I had the radiator to trans leak and they covered in full minus $100 deductible. That was like ~$7k repair

thanks guys
Thanks guys, i definitely looked at chrysler's website but its too late to call them. Have to wait until tomorrow. but so far the cost of the warranty for what i wanted was cheap. I'll have to ask the dealer about warranty solutions since i can only purchase them through a dealership.
Arghhhhh so close to the prize and yet so far
