Yea, bu you wired the resistors. These have them built in, not everyone has the luxury of having resistors wired. lol

Havin resistors wired I think is much better! LED are cheap but not with built in resistors.

Alright, just ordered ANOTHER set... at least these have 6 LEDs per bulb whereas the ones I've bought previously had 3. Hopefully it does the trick. If not, I give up. LOL. Gonna try my leftover bulbs in other parts of the car now.

right license plate lamp more dim than left

Quick quistion if thread is still alive, suddenly I notices my right license plate lamp is more dim than the left, replaced both leds but no change really weird any ideas?
Bad ground or something what could lead to this?

Would be nice if somebody created real led lamps to replace org like the rear light

I installed those a year or two ago... super bright!

Way better than plug in leds.

Zero errors, and look super clean!

LEFT LED Bulbs - RIGHT LED Plug in easy to install..

Have had those bulbs to, nothing but problems works then doesn't work then blinks then nothing but problems so finally took the bull by the horn and installed my LED Plug in LED lamps never been happier these works and are super beautiful real LED.. big difference u cant see it good on picture but the plate is fully lid very different and never need to worry about bulbs again..
(Those bulbs will eventually fail, had them in my CLK aswell same only problems and just want to add my interior is LED no problems..

Anyway matter of taste really,, here is the LED Bulbs you guys have LEFT picture,, Right my car with LED Plug in Lamps.

FWIW I ponied up the $30 for the
LED LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS Module Mercedes W209 C209 A209 CLK 212
They look and functions like an OEM solution.
My rec is go for them!
