I want to take my stock sub out and replace it with an alpine type r and put a mono block amp to it but i cant figure out the size and would like to have the sub before i take everything apart. I also have 2 12' type r's in the trunk with a pioneer avic headunit so i know i can run all aftermarket stuff, just need to know the size of the stock sub

 

You may want to ask the good folks in the W208 forum, as that is what chasis you have.

 

i dont even think u have a stock sub but mybe im wrong but im running 1000w mono to a alpine type r with a box that takes up a lil over half the trunk and it pounds

 

yeah, i have a pdx 1000.1 amp pushing 2 12" type r and i have almost no trunk left but i know i have a stock sub. Its behind the middle of my back seat and i took the car apart to run my rca's and saw it. I just would rather have the sub to replace the stock one with first before I take everything apart again. But Thanks guys. i'll post pics when i can or if i take it apart again

 

u have the bose system right that speaker under the armrest is just a center speaker i think
