Thanks alot for the compliment....I am keeping the lips as is....3.5in lip in rear, 2in in front i believe. The car is dropped more now than in the photos....ill try and post some new pics, but the weather is kinda ****ty today. I eventually want to put brembos on though.
if you need anything.. dont forget dyno is always here... and lazy andy is here too! jk... LOL

Yup, and I'm thinking of getting the chrome trim painted to match the car....And decide If I want to paint the calipers....Don't know if I want to stick with red, kind of cliché...

in my own opinion.. it would be nice if you stick to dark colors... your car has silver,cf and black in it.. going bright would be something else..
but it is totally up to you! you got brembos anyway.. u flaked on me man! i copied your r1 concepts and u left me! lol... jk

lol, I hear what your saying. It's that the calipers I have on now are powder coated black and you could barely see them. I know the Brembo's are bigger but still...Maybe I'll go with silver or 744 to match the car...
I will still have the R1's in the back until I find something

this will be my next target as well. I remember seeing a thread that some guys advices to just paint the OEM ones... I think it was dyno who suggested that too... I just can't find the thread anymore...
using the search option gives me all thread of mbworld forums and not just the w209 and I also tried looking manually at w209 thread and cannot find it still.
btw salty... your wheels looks good... are you going to keep the lip like that? I always like it when you can show off your big front brakes and calipers..

thats the orange paint. i believe that theres a blue one in there too. if i did go the powdercoat route, i would go for like a gold or baby blue like the stoptechs. i think their blue is just jaw dropping nice. lol
i dont think they make one. you would have to buy the parts seperately and custom one yourself. the problem is that, from what other have done (andy and buffy and a couple of others), they all say that the stock ones were better and there was some loss of power. or something along the lines of that.

Yea something like taking in too much heat. I think upgrading the airbox is the way to go

When you are in the 209 forum, on the top right hand corner by the page indicators you will see "search this forum" that will let you search ONLY the 209 forum.
