That orange looks really cool. My Mb mechanic quoted me $50 to swap put brakes so maybe after all I will go big break kit and just switch the breaks for the winter so I can fit my 16" winter wheels/tires....man this forum is killing my wallet

why dont get you get a cheaper 18" winter wheel =D
well it doesnt snow here on the west coast either. so i dont really need the change. but yeah im planning to use the size of rotor from r1concepts or frozen rotors. the 16" wheel fitment only allows what they gave us stock. if you switch on and off, i would just say paint stock calipers.
the only way to get the bigger brakes would be to keep a constant 18" running. its too tedious to do summer/winter brake set ups.
so i guess i would recommend the above and get an extra set of rims that can accommodate.

Well I just got a brand new set of winter tires in October so that would add to the cost. I guess I'm stock for now with what I have. I can change the rotors to drilled ones and paint the stock so it looks a bit better. My Benz mechanic quoted me $50 for the front to change the rotors and pads, if its maybe $100 including calipers change and bleeding then maybe I will consider but thats X 2 per year....might be just too much trouble....

Mine came with 17's stock, you think I would still have a problem?

12 inch (304mm) 16" wheels, at least
13 inch (330mm) 17"
14 inch (356mm) 18"
15 inch (380mm) 19"
Then there is the issue of the clearance of the calipers based on their size and your wheel design so you might need to add larger spacers.
So I guess for your 17" wheels 330mm is max
