I really like the Rieger body kit minus the spoiler and the labels

This Rieger kit is a "slip-on" not actually a whole kit. BTW the 3000GT is one of my favorite cars of all time. I love the body on that car

I favored the pre 1994, much wider and more muscular look. Should have never sold it. Had the 1993 purchased in 1995 with 20k miles. I miss that car....

I had the GTSL like the one in the pic, same pearl white color with wheels from 1994 model and black interior. My business partner had 1994 (new body) VR4 in dark green and my computer tech manager had 1994 GT in red. It looked kick *** when we had all 3 lined up in front of the office. These were the days... we were all 20-22 as well and chicks loved it

I de-badged and I like the clean look in the back.

I was thinking to replace the front bumper before when my car was newer. I preferred the CLK500 bumper than my CLK320 (2004). Then the MB service adviser quoted me crazy price and I gave up. He also told me that if I wanted to change the bumper, I had to change all around because of the height difference.

Well I would not go to the dealer to get anything like that done. They will rape you dry and some more As you can see from the pics the side skirts were not changed and it does not look bad at all. If one did not know, one would never tell.

I got the front and rear bumpers with all the supports, mounts, mash, fog lights, side markers etc. used for under $300 Yes they had some scratches and were black but it was an awesome deal never less. It cost me $1000 at a high quality shop to get them refinished and color match painted and installed. It would cost less but they also painted the AMG spoiler, buffed out some scratches on the hood and fixed two ~ 1" spots where the paint was chipped off on one of the doors and side of the car. Granted its not easy to find used bumpers but with some time searching its not impossible. I can only imagine how much all that hardware would cost at the dealer. Once I was quoted $300 for the little motor for the headrest. I ended up taking the seat apart and fixing it myself.

That price is usually the bumper alone.

Yes, I found both front and rear, plus mesh grills (3), plus fog lights, plus turn signals for $300 To top it off it was about an hour drive to pick up so no shipping cost

actually the guy took off another $20 ($280 total) as he could not find one of the front plastic mounting parts. It did include all the styrofoam reinforcements. He ended up finding the missing part and sending it over for free and did not want any additional payments Some people have all the class!

Is it true that pre-face lift AMG bumper (2003-06) cannot fit face lift CLK (2006-2009)?

I would think that both would be interchangable, the fenders and hood of both of the above mentioned cars are the same. The facelifted front end is just a little sharper - I like the look of it over mine, a little more aggressive but not overbearing.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it'll fit.
