Bumpers transplent

So I finally had the time to get the AMG bumpers painted and installed. The Elegance ones just did not do the car justice. Now I can move on to other mods like installing the AMG spoiler (just removed and cleaned the tape) and the drop.

Before

After

I was thinking about it but there were none used available and I don't want to get them from the dealer. I think it looks ok as it is now.

The spoiler will add alot to the rear view.

Very true, the spoiler will be a nice touch. Same here, I was happy without the side skirts at first but then it started bothering me a little. Been looking all over for some used ones. They are hard to come by. Just found some 08 CLK63 skirts at a great price..

Did the new bumper include the headlight washer kit or is it just there?

No the guy I got the bumpers from (Black 2003 CLK500) had it on his. It was between doing some body work to cover the wholes or get the covers and glue them closed The covers cost less.

It looks sweet! Big difference!

Your car looks very clean as it stands now, but installing the trunk spoiler would add some more aggressiveness to the rear.

Have you thought of getting the CF front lip and rear spoiler from Gary@Suvneer (I know you're about to install the AMG spoiler, but....)?

Looks good even with the non-AMG skirts. I need to start saving some cheese so I can finally finish my car.

Ah the curse of the 320 I should have waited and purchased a 500 but there were none available, used in silver with under 30k miles and I did not want to wait. In the back of my mind I knew I would regret not waiting for a 500 for sale.

yeah, it really amazes me how many folks on this board buy the 320 and sell it to get the 500 or get the 500 body package. It looks great dariusf. No one take offense to this but when i was looking at the clk, i felt like the 320 body looked kinda "chickish." The AMG looked strong and masculine. Ofcourse a 0 to 60 in 5.2-5.5 didn't hurt either. We tell every prospective nooby on the board to buy the 500 or greater, some listen.

+1. but i was wondering if i would regret the gas mileage between the difference. a couple miles per gallon here and there add up over the 60k miles ive put on.

hey darius. one day away. lol

but the puremotorsport that i think ima buy it from...their rep that quoted me isnt there. sigh. hes out for the week. ive been calling. but the guy finally said he will honor the price of what the other rep quoted during the sale after it is over as well. so i just agreed. lol cuz he cant do **** about it anyways.

what do you think i should do? just order somewhere else or keep it hoping that nothing will change. lol they better not screw me over.

btw. i think ltvmotorsports has the cheapest, but their rating sucks esp when it comes to shipping out orders.
puremotorsports seems to be the second cheapest but they are not around to figure out and make an order.

shame you had to drill holes in that front bumper for the license plate! I filled my holes and put the plate in the trunk ("it just fell off yesterday, officer"). I gotta say that what usually turns my head on a CLK is the side skirts, like in lowpost's and BadDebt's sigs (maybe I'll do JUST side skirts!)

any thoughts of debadging?

I know, but I did get couple tickets in the past on my 3000GTSL. I might do the skirts at one point but the drop and brakes are much higher on the priority list.

I really like the Rieger body kit minus the spoiler and the labels
