Cat will have an O2 Sensor in front and one behind it.

So that's what everyone has been removing lately and replaced it with two ( or one ) straight pipes?

if you talking RIGHT at that resonator then just 1 pipe.

For some reason the resonator in that pics doesnt look like I have on mine CLK500. Axnkicker, is it from your car ?

And if i remember right my car has two pipes under there and this one seems to be missing one or maybe removed.

its not removed YET and your right on the two pipes but instead at the resonator ..the two pipes that you said is going from the primary then to the second cats (Y-shape) after that its just one pipe to the resonator THEN to your muffler.

Edit: I will try to find the pics when im at the muffler shop to do all that.

yeah my 500 has a different looking resonator.

this is how i replaced my resonator and 2nd cat.

its 05 CLK500.

one more question guys ... since the pipe is 2.5" now ..does it make any sound difference when i replace with 3" or 3.5" ? will it sound deeper significantly ?
