Koni adjustable for CLK500?
I've decided to do some suspension mods on my CLK500 over the summer in preperation for the Autocross/SOLO1 track days re-opening up in October (things are a little different in Dubai...). I have a set of H&R springs (29259-2) and H&R front & rear sway bars (70392-2 & 71392) on order, now I'm on to ordering shocks/struts.
I have searched quite a few online stores and see that the Koni 8741-1412 (rear) and 8041-1319 (front) are listed for the W209 350 up to 55AMG. However, the Koni site itself only lists these for up to the CLK350. Does anyone on using this forum have Koni's on their CLK 500? Are these in fact the correct part numbers?
Thanks in advance.

hmm well actually i think i might have to eat my words. they no longer carry but they can order i believe. though i am not sure if they are a dealer or not.
also, with that i said earlier. i have read that on konis stiffest setting, they will not be as still as bilstein sports. so if you want to stick to the shock and spring route for track. i would look into a set of bilstein sports.
and i heard from a bilstein dealer than it isnt ideal to put bilsten HD on a lowered car. i am sure its not bad for a daily but not if your going on the track.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, much appreciated!
I'm not wanting to go with a track specific set up (aka, coilovers) as this will still be a daily driver and I want to retain a fairly good level of comfort. I have a track car back in Canada with a full suspension set up, yes it's awesome on the road course but really a pain in the butt (literally) on city streets.
Finding Koni's isn't the problem, it's the conflicting info on them - some sites say they are okay up to the 55AMG other say only up to the 350. Obviously there is a weight difference between the different models but I can't see it being an issue - just thought I'd ask if anyone on this forum had been using them. I like the adjustability factor - soften them up for the street.
Anyways, thanks again for your thoughts, I'll post some pics up when I have some work done over the summer.

Thanks bheng, I actually did send them an email but didn't get a reply, that's why I've asked on the forums. I figured it would be best to get an answer from the horses mouth.
I doubt too many of the Dutch are going on vacation this year - that is if they bet heavy on the World Cupo final

but that is interesting though, i got my email instantly. I guess you can email one of their vendors to see if the part numbers are correct but i am sure they are.

Just want to close this thread out with an update. The guys at Koni got back to me regarding using their products on the 500, they said that it's a-okay but the part numbers are different than those I found on the net.
So for future reference, if you have a 500 and want to upgrade to Koni adjustables the part numbers given by Koni are 8750-1077 & 8050-1122. Lucky me, they have a distributor here in Dubai
