Little trick i found out this morning
All of our CLK's have the seat-belt feature that retracts from its position to come closer to you.
Some of us including me don't put the seatbelt on most of the time and sometimes i dont want that thing to come to me.
If you push the Lock doors button on your dash before you turn on the car the seat-belt will not move from its possition.
Not sure if this is old or not lol but thought id share it.

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
We can debate the pros and cons of seat belts till the cows come home (which, incidentally, they do - long story).
In the end, seat belts have saved a lot of lives... and taken a lot of lives as well.
If it saved your life, then glad to hear it. Personally, I've seen more people killed by them than saved.

I'd rather have a trick to make the seatbelt arm come back again! Sometimes I dilly-dally too long, with the stereo or GPS, and the arm retracts before I but the belt on. I'm so spoiled by that thing that I hate to reach back the extra foot or so! In fact, in mt E Class, I forget to put the belt on, because it isn't "delivered" to me!

Andy, when I STFF, I REALLY STFF!! I realize how old it is, but I also know that most of us are still here, so I thought I might not be the only one that'd get a chuckle out of it. I assume you did find the "lock" button eventually, right?
