bluetooth question
What's the easiest way to tell if my car's bluetooth will work with the b67876131 part?
I am assuming it has the capability since I can bring up the bluetooth screen, it tells me no phone device found, is that simply because I don't have this adapter?

On a 2006 clk350 , open the upper compartment on the center armrest console. there should be an adapter plate there. if it is there, you are good to go. just plug the bluetooth "puck" you pictured in, it should work. If there is no adapter plate, you should see a faint outline in the black liner. this unfortunately means you don't have the hands free telephone system installed. Good news is you can search e-bay for OEM hands free (bluetooth) module for 2006 clk350 and several should pop up. The install is very straight forward, with the module installing in the trunk behind the fold-down rear seat. You can then use the existing harness present in 2006's to utilize stock microphones and controls. You also must install the adapter plate in the armrest console. I would consider buying the "Viseeo" bluetooth "puck" instead of the stock M-B "puck". Going with Parrot or Cartronics is another possibility, but IMO harder and requires installing cheesy add on microphones and finding places to mount aftermarket stuff.

meehajaz: why "Viseeo" bluetooth "puck" instead of the stock M-B "puck"?
dsk350: if you DO have the adapter plate in your console, consider the B67875878
(see post HERE), much cheaper (and it's the original for your 2006). if you DON'T have the adapter plate, call cellguy85 (search the forums for happy testimonials) at cellguy@live.com; he got me completely set up for around $600.

Interesting, thanks a lot for your input guys, I will check it out tonight.
Deciding if I'm gonna sell it or not...If not, then I will def put in the adapter just in case we drive it around, better to be safe than sorry.
