hi
im very new not just to mercedes but to modern cars as for years i have owned old toyota hilux’s and vw camper vans.
with the old cars there is so many holes that feeding a wire to a switch on the dash was easy, but this looks abit harder.![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)
can anybody recommend the best way to get 2 wires from the battery to the dash (on/off switch) back underneath the car below the engine (neon lights)?
thanks

hey, there is a grommet(fire) hole on the passenger side under the footwell. take out all the padded and you'll see it. and its directly behind the battery. then you can run the wires under the cabin to the drivers side. sorry i dont have pics when i did my install. but i believe 2mchar has a thread with a picture of a grommet hole.

i was thinking about doing pod lights on the bottom instead of neon. if you done use your fogs much, you can wire them to your fogs so that want when you want neon, you can turn on the fogs. however, if you use your fogs, stick with the battery idea.

lol no problem. i actually am looking to figure out which fuse is the courtesy light. so when i unlock the car in automatic, it will turn on. i use my fogs along with my city lights so the pods would be too much with it. just food for thought for now.
