just did my first oil change with a mityvac. sucked up all the oil. looks to be only about 7.5 qt in the tube.

so i poured in about 7.25. checked the comp, it said ok. i did the diagnostic trick and said i have 6.6qt on cold start....its supposed to have 8 right?

I believe it's supposed to have 8.

i figured it out with the way see the amount of oil in dash. it was at 6.6 and i just put enough oil for 8 qt. turns out you need 8.5 if you put in a new filter
