Wow, I have trouble understanding why you post here anymore. Whenever you do decide to roll off your high horse and post, it's always a negative comment or to boast.
..We all know that you know how to do everything on the CLK so why not share the knowledge instead of being a douche about it. So you put in leg work to find answers and don't want to share.
Isn't that what a forum is for? Having info readily available so you're not "in the dark". Why not make someones life a little easier instead of antagonizing them. We are here to help each other, it looks like you forgot that. 
It would of been as easy as this:
"Try disconnecting the battery. You will need to reprogram windows/sunroof, instructions are in the manual."

Remember his is 550 and your is 500....maybe his car has a different setup but im pretty sure your (wazv6) setup will be same as mine...so THERE IS NO CEL if you take out the cats (second) or the resonator. No more question about this k ?
